I am a gynaecologist, specialised in reproductive medicine, and laparoscopic surgery in Wollongong and Shellharbour, NSW. I have practiced obstetrics for many years but have now decided to re-direct my career mainly towards gynaecology and infertility to offer my patients a very specialised care.

I always keep an integrated vision of fertility practice. The interventions I offer are gradually stepped from simple medical and lifestyle management, up to advanced laparoscopic surgery or assisted reproductive technologies (IVF, ICSI) depending on the individual case and my patients' wish. Not all my patients need or wish to go through assisted reproduction techniques, it is so much better to make a baby the old way, under a doona, whenever possible...

Here are a few conceptions and misconceptions about Fertility in Australia.

I hold specialist appointments at:

I am an Associate Professor at the University of Wollongong, academic leader for Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and part time satff specialist at the Wollongong Hospital. For my patients who require assisted reproductive treatment, I am very proud to be accredited with Genea, world leaders in fertility, one of the best companies in the field of IVF. For those requiring laparoscopic surgery, I am also a faculty member of the prestigious Sydney Women's Endosurgery Centre. I am a member of the Australian Medical Association (AMA).

My background is French, originally from Montpellier in the south of France, where I trained in the most ancient medical school in the western world still in activity. I am a native French speaker, fluent in English and Spanish (almost). I moved to Australia in 2010 to follow my aussie wife. When not working, I enjoy exploring new restaurants and cafés (I am a bit of a "foodie") and tasting the wonderful australian wines that often stand the comparison to the French ones in my opinion (Please, don't report what I said to my folks, back home!). I am learning to surf, and love the outdoor activities offered in the Illawarra.
